This two (2) or three (3) day course is designed for officers and managers who participate in the planning and conduct of formal negotiations on behalf of their organization, who negotiate for goods, services, land, building leases, joint funding of projects or any number of daily situations. The negotiation cycle: planning, conduct and conclusion, of a negotiated agreement, will be covered on this course. The theory and practical exercises include the different types of negotiations, from “single-issue, single party” to “multi-issues, multiparty.” It also emphasizes the importance of thorough planning, as well as strategies and tactics that help you achieve your objectives.
